FINAL MEETING OF THE PROJECT IN ZAGREB

​On 20th and 21st October, the final meeting of the eQyvol project took place in Zagreb, Croatia.

During this meeting, the project partners established the guidelines and work plan for the dissemination of the European Quality Indicators in Youth Volunteering across all the Erasmus+ countries.

The project partners also met with the staff and volunteers from Udruga Za Podršku Žrtvama I Svjedocima (Victims and Witness Support Service), the organisation who won the 2022 European Award on Quality in Youth Volunteering.






EUROPEAN AWARD ON QUALITY IN YOUTH VOLUNTEERING

The organisation Udruga Za Podršku Žrtvama I Svjedocima (Victims and Witness Support Service) from Croatia won the 2022 European Award on Quality in Youth Volunteering.

The award ceremony took place on 28th June in Brussels. Gabriella Civico, Director at the European Volunteer Centre, opened the ceremony. Carlos Moreno, Quality Manager at the Spanish Volunteer Platform, presented the eQyvol project and the first European Quality Standards in Youth Volunteering. Afterwards, Charalampos Papaioannou, Policy Officer at the European Commission, presented the European Year of Youth and Panagiotis Chatzimichail, Board Member at the European Youth Forum (YFJ), made a presentation about Youth Volunteering in Europe. Mateja Meštrović, Volunteer Program Manager, attended the ceremony and received the award on behalf of Udruga Za Podršku Žrtvama I Svjedocima.





FOURTH PROJECT MEETING

On 17th February, the fourth meeting of the eQyvol project took place online.

In this meeting, the project partners discussed and agreed on the evaluation criteria for the European Youth Volunteering Award 2022. Any organisation from the Erasmus+ Programme Countries involved in the coordination or management of youth volunteering programmes and/or activities will be able to participate in this award. The jury will assess the applications using the recently defined European Quality Standards in Youth Volunteering. The winner will be invited to attend the award ceremony in Brussels, Belgium in June 2022.

THIRD PROJECT MEETING

On 14th December, the third meeting of the eQyvol project took place online.

In this meeting, the project partners evaluated the results from the European consultation carried out during the last two months in order to identify the most commonly used quality standards in youth volunteering across the EU.

Based on the results from the consultation, the project partners will produce the first version of the European Quality Standards in Youth Volunteering which will be openly published at www.eqyvol.eu in March 2022. Next, the project partners will organise a pilot testing involving youth volunteering organisations from all countries across the EU. Based on the feedback from the testers, the project partners will define and implement the necessary improvements before the publication of the final version of the European Quality Standards in Youth Volunteering in November 2022.





SECOND PROJECT MEETING

On 1st September 2021, the second meeting of the eQyvol project took place online.

In this meeting, the project partners defined the methodology for the consultation that we will carry out in all EU countries in order to identify the most commonly used quality standards in youth volunteering across the EU.

The results from the consultation will be used to produce the first version of the European Quality Standards in Youth Volunteering. Next, we will organise a pilot testing involving youth volunteering organisations from all across the EU. Based on the feedback from the testers, we will define and implement the necessary improvements before the publication of the final version of the European Quality Standards in Youth Volunteering in November 2022.





KICKOFF MEETING

On 8th June 2021, the kickoff meeting of the eQyvol project took place online.

The project aims at defining and disseminating across the EU the first European Quality Standards in Youth Volunteering.

In this meeting, the project partners established the guidelines and work plan for the definition of the standards.
